Homes Still Without Irrigation Service

Some homeowners in Yakima are still without irrigation service, after a canal was shut down last Friday due to damaged pipes.
Officials say crews found a root ball in a pipe located on 12th and Mead, which is preventing the flow of water through the canal.
That portion of canal service has been blocked off to allow other homes around the area to receive limited amounts of water.
Crews say they will work on removing the pipe blockage on Monday.
