Fire Out, Landslide Closes Hwy 241

The fire that burned about 4600 acres near highways 24 and 241 outside of Sunnyside yesterday is essentially out, thanks in part to a downpour as a result of a storm that passed through that area this afternoon..
However, that storm caused a landlisde on Highway 241, which is now closed 4 miles north of Sunnyside. Department of Transportation crews are on site, and we're told teh roadway will be closed until at least late tonight and possibly until early tomorrow morning
