Two Elderly Couples Victims of Burglary

The Richland Police Department is looking for two suspects accused of stealing from two elderly couples in Richland this last week.

Two couples have reported that a Hispanic man and woman have approached them asking if they needed any lawn service.

During the conversation, two children will distract the homeowners asking for change to a hundred dollar bill, and the Hispanic couple will steal the items.

One couple had two of their safes stolen from their home while the other couple had about $500 stolen.

One incident took place on the 200 block of Goethals Drive and the other on the 100 block of Thayer Drive.

The male suspect is described as Hispanic, heavy set, 5'10" to 5'11" tall, early 50's.

The female suspect is described as Hispanic, heavy set, 5'5" tall, mid 40's.
