Man Arrested on Suspicion of Invading Personal Privacy
The Morrow County Sheriff's Office is investigating allegations of invasion of personal privacy against the park host at the Morrow/Grant OHV park.
During the weekend of July 7-8, authorities received information that there may be a person at one of the county's parks that was spying on people as they used the restroom facilities.
Investigators were sent to the park to rent a cabin on July 9th. That morning, while a female reserve deputy entered the restroom, a detective observed a suspect entering a maintenance space between the restrooms. The suspect was found peeking through a small hole in the wall.
54-year-old John McBride of Pilot Rock was arrested at the scene. McBride is a contract vendor acting as camp host at the Morrow/Grant OHV Park and is not a county employee.
McBride was arrested on multiple counts of criminal mischief and invasion of personal privacy.
