Barrel Racer Headed To Nationals
An East Valley High School student is preparing for a trip across the country,to compete in a national barrel racing competition.
17 year old Sierra Bryan qualified for the National Championship in Wyoming and will be representing Washington State in the competition.
Since age 2, Bryan has been racing- but just this year joined her high school rodeo team.
She says even after 15 years of constant practice- she is still learning about her self and her horse. .
"I've learned how to control my nerves because they can feel my nerves and than they get nervous and I can just control myself like how I control my energy," says Sierra Bryan.
Bryan also qualified with her best friend to head to nationals in Wyoming.
The two leave next week for the week long competition
