KPD gets $2000 Special Olympics Donation
KPD receives a donation from the Money Tree.
The Kennewick police department receives a large donation today for its major fundraising campaign.
The Moneytree of Kennewick presents Chief Ken Hohenberg with a two thousand dollar check for the special olympics torch run campaign.
The campaign has raised about $70,000 for local special olympic athletes.
The next fundraising event is July 14th. The first annual "run from the cops" midnight run five-kay will start from the Kennewick Gold's gym.
