Man Drowns in Naches River

A 26-year-old man drowned in the Naches River in Yakima around 6:00 P.M. Tuesday.
The Yakima County Coroner has identified that man as 26 year old Martin Diegogaspar of Tacoma.
Rescue crews said the man was swimming with friends in the area of 16th Avenue and Greenway.
The man's friends noticed he had gone missing and searched for about 30 minutes when they found the man trapped underwater near the railroad trestle.
Paramedics attempted to revive the man on the way to the hospital, but were unsuccessful.
