Farm Worker Killed While Repairing Tractor in Wapato
44-year-old Francisco Espinoza dies this morning after the tractor he was working on ran over him.
It happened about 9 this mornig in the 2800 block of West Wapato Road in Wapato.
The initial investigation revealed that while the worker was in the process of changing a tire on a sprayer trailer. The tractor, which was pulling the trailer, was still running and began moving forward and got away from the worker. The Espinoza was run over by the tractor and/or trailer.
Firefighters attempted CPR on him, but were unsuccessful.
Espinoza died at the scene.
