New 911 Dispatch Radio Console

Yakima police officers will soon have new mobile radios courtesy of the 2012 utility tax.
The city council agreed to allow the 911 dispatch center to replace its aging radio console- costing about 350 thousand dollars.
The tax will also cover 9 new mobile video units for police officers as well as mobile and portable radios
