Fire destroys home in Yakima County
Yakima County firefighters are investigating a fire that completely destroyed a home, along with two cars this morning.
The fire started just after 5 a.m. on the 500 block of South Emerald Road.
The homeowner's grandmother was gardening when she noticed smoke coming out of the home and quickly got everyone out safely.
The family is being is being assisted by relatives and the Red Cross.
