Move In Day For Women At YWCA
Leases are signed and boxes are emptied as two women officially move into the YWCA.
For the last several months women have been living in the emergency shelter while the transitional apartment housing was finished.
The transitional housing allows women to live there for up to a year but are allowed to leave anytime they are self sufficient.
One woman has been waiting for five months and feels a sense of relief to be able to call this her home.
Five more women will move in through the end of next week into the apartments.
