Gallery Exhibit for Y.W.C.A. Artwork Opens Tonight
Donated artwork for YWCA
A gallery exhibit showing off paintings being donated to decorate Y.W.C.A. women's shelters in Yakima opens tonight.
The artwork by more than 30 local artists will be on display at the Allied Arts Center on West Lincoln Avenue starting at 6 p.m. The artwork features themes of hope and empowerment, aiming to inspire domestic violence victims seeking help at the Y.W.C.A.
The gallery will be open until February 3rd, and then the artwork will be installed at the Y.W.C.A. shelters located at South 8th Avenue.
