Update: Suspect Captured in Weekend Toppenish Stabbing
Toppenish Police have located a suspect in the stabbing of a woman in the face over the weekend.
Police arrested 30 Year old Joey Anthony Andy yesterday in Wapato. He was booked into Yakima County Jail on attempted murder charges.
Police believe he stabbed the victim at a motel room off Highway 97 Sunday afternoon. The woman was taken to the hospital where she received more than 40 stitches.
