Slow business at the Suncadia Resort near Cle Elum is forcing more than 100 employees to take furloughs.
Suncadia says a seasonal drop in conference bookings and a lack of snow for recreation are reasons for the temporary layoffs.
The employees will remain on the resort's payroll, and Suncadia expects to call them back to work in the spring. The resort employs 400 works during its peak season.
