Ellensburg Couple Arrested For Scalding Son
An Ellensburg couple is arrested for burning their three year old son with scalding bath water.
Ellensburg police were notified that the boy was being treated for second degree burns in Seattle, and after investigating the incident, discovered that the boy was submerged in the bath water as a punishment.
The parents--25 year old Roberto Sanchez and twenty eight year old Sophia Gonzalez, are being held in the Kittitas County jail on assault of a child and criminal mistreatment charges.
The boy and his three siblings have been placed in protective custody
