High Winds Close White Pass Ski Resort
Skiers at White Pass
White Pass Ski Resort is closed today because of high winds.
Spokeswoman Kathleen Goyette says winds at the resort have been clocked at 88 miles per hour. She says the winds make it too dangerous to operate chair lifts.
Goyette expects White Pass to reopen tomorrow if weather conditions improve.
