Black History Month Display Opens Today
Dozens of artifacts and life size paintings are showcased in Yakima today in honor of Black History Month.
The free event, put on by the Opportunities Industrialization Ceneter of Washington includes artifacts passed down from generation to generation.
All of the items were collected by the staff and from members of the community.
The even is at the Excel High School Gym on Fruitvale and runs until Friday.
