Drivers Frustrated With Rising Gas Prices
Gas prices are going up, and drivers are frustrated.
The price of a gallon of unleaded gas at this Safeway on Nob Hill Boulevard in Yakima is $3.59. Triple-A auto club reports the average price for gas in Yakima is $3.51, and in the Tri-Cities, gas is cheaper at $3-39.
One driver who's unemployed says he might have to sell his S.U.V. soon if gas prices keep climbing.
"It's just too expensive for people to get around, I can't even afford to look for a job half the time, because of how high gas prices are, says Jason Hooker.
Triple-A says the average price of a gallon of gas in Washington is $3.64.
That's up eleven cents in one week, and seven cents higher than the national average.
