Resort Threatened With Water Shut-Off
Suncadia Resort near Cle Elum
Suncadia Resort says it plans to pay off an outstanding sewage treatment bill, to prevent water from being shut off to the resort.
Managing Director Roger Beck says Suncadia received a letter from the city of Cle Elum last week. Beck says the letter asked Suncadia to pay its share of operating a regional sewage treatment plant, or face a possible water shut off.
Beck says Suncadia is behind by one and a half months on its payments, but plans to catch up soon. We reached Cle Elum mayor Charles Glondo by phone today, Glondo declined to comment on this story.
