Opponents Plan To Fight Against Gay Marriage

Opponents of gay marriage are already vowing to take the issue to the voters just a day after the Washington State Senate approved a bill allowing same sex marriage.

If gay marriage opponents file over $120,000 signature for a referendum by early June, gay marriages will be on hold until voters have their say in November.

If they fail to get the signatures, couples can begin marrying in June.

The house could vote on the same sex marriage bill as early as tomorrow.

The governor introduced the legislation last month and is expected to sign the bill into law.
