Two arrested in Ellensburg for suspected child abuse
An Ellensburg mother and her boyfriend have been arrested for allegedly assaulting and mistreating two children.
Police say the assaults against a 4-year-old girl and 8-year-old boy took place several times over the past two weeks.
The young girl is listed in critical condition and the young boy is listed in stable condition.
Both were transported to a Seattle hospital.
The children's mother, 23-year-old Ashly Eli and her boyfriend, 27-year-old Rueben Mulamba were booked into the Kittitas County Corrections Center.
