Second Gunshot Victim Found In Car
Kittitas County Sheriffs are investigating the mysterious death of two Yakima men, who were found shot and killed inside a car Friday.
Gregg Frazier is a close friend of Ryan Pederson's family.
When Frazier found out the boy he watched grow up had been killed, he was in disbelief.
"Unbelieveable, I just couldn't believe that it happened to him," said Frazier, "It's hard on me, it's hard on the family especially. There's just so many unanswered questions right now."
Around 9:15 am on Friday, Kittitas County Sheriffs were called out to the Yakima Canyon regarding a car that had veered off the roadway.
When deputies searched the car, they found the bodies of 35 year old Ryan Pederson, and later found 37 year old Michael Eby.
Each suffered fatal gunshot wounds.
Deputies found the car crashed near a fence -- They found Pederson in the back seat and Eby in the trunk.
Frazier says the state both men were found in is extremely bizarre.
"It makes no sense, I mean why are they out there, what's going on? Everybody wants some answers right now, and nobody's getting any."
Frazier says he and Pederson's father kept up with the events that transpired in Connecticut a week ago, and can now only imagine the pain his friend is in now.
"He now knows what those people are going through, that's what bad -- I mean, it's horrible," said Frazier, "It's hard to comfort anybody, you don't know what to say. You just try to be there. That's about all you can do."
The Kittitas County Sheriff's Department will not comment --- saying only that this is an active investigation.
An autopsy performed on both Pederson and Eby confirmed that the gunshot wounds did cause their deaths.
