PNWU Increasing Class Size

A local medical school in Yakima is nearly doubling its class size for next fall.

Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences is increasing the number of students it has from 70 to 135.

The school recently broke ground on a 5 million dollar expansion project in June.

The school plans to add nearly 22 thousand square feet to its main academic center by next fall -- it will be used to accomodate the additional students coming next year.
