Fatal Accident Last Night Near Wapato
One person was killed and five others were injured in a weather related crash last night on Fort Road near Wapato.
The Washington State Patrol says a vehicle hit ice and lost control, causing their vehicle to crash into a car in the other lane.
Dead at the scene was 64 year old Joyce Kelly of White Swan. She was a passenger in the car that was hit. She was the only one not wearing her seat belt. Everyone else in the 2nd vehicle was injured, and transported to a local hospital.
The WSP continues to investigate.
