Washington coalition asks legislators for more racial equality

A new report from a Washington coalition is asking state legislators to work on racial and economic equality.

The Washington Community Action Network graded each legislator for how they voted on issues affecting racial and economic equality.

60 of the state's 147 legislators got an F grade.

Out of the 13 legislators in our region, 11 received an F grade.

The coalition says some legislators are reinforcing barriers that deny some families the opportunities they deserve.
