Same-sex couples get married across Washington
Many same-sex couples across Washington state are tying the knot today, after voters legalized gay marriage last month.
Tri-Cities couple Santos Bethea and Erica Estavillo got married today in Richland.
The couple got engaged after Referendum 74 passed, and they got their marriage license on Thursday.
Bethea and Estavillo's wedding was held at Bethea's sister's house in front of their Christmas tree in the living room.
About a dozen people showed up for the small ceremony.
The newlyweds say they are blessed to be able to finally make their relationship official.
"Excited. Finally got it over with. But yeah, I'm excited, I'm happy. I'm nervous" laughed Bethea.
Bethea and Estavillo don't have any plans for a honeymoon.
They just plan to celebrate at home with family and friends.
