Gregoire Signs Gay Marriage into Law
County auditors offices around the state are bracing for big crowds tomorrow as same-sex couples can get marriage licenses for the first time in Washington.
Governor Chris Gregoire signed same-sex marriage into law just after 4 p.m. today in a ceremony joined by gay couples who plan to marry.
The state has a three-day waiting period, so the earliest gay couples can marry is Sunday.
