Today Taylor's Deadline to Appeal

Today is the last day that former East Valley High School teacher Michele Taylor can appeal the one year suspension of her teaching certificate by the state superintendent's office.
Taylor had until 5 PM to file the appeal--as of 2 PM the superintndent's office had not received any filing.
The state suspended her for unprofessional conduct after she was accused of sending hundreds of texts to two students -- she wasl also found not guilty of criminal sexual misconduct involving those two students.
If Taylor appeals and another hearing is held, that decision will be final.
Michele Taylor has been on paid leave since 2009.
