Cars Donated To Domestic Violence Victims
A Yakima car dealer donates two cars to victims of domestic violence today.
Steve Hahn and the YWCA partnered to give 2 cars to two women living in transitional housing at the YWCA.
Both women were using public transportation to take their kids to school and get around everyday.
The women say they are closing a door to their past and literally opening a new door to their future.
"I can't even put it into words its really emotional- I'm really really excited my son is extremely excited-this is just a step forward for us to be able to move on in our lives," says Rayna Casiano.
"Stability, being self sufficient for me and my kids cuz the situation we've been in for so long- I've had to rely on someone else and now I'm gonna be able to take care of my kids without having to worry about it," says Miriam Saaverdra.
