14 Year Old Allegedly Leads Police on High Speed Chase
A 14 year old Sunnyside boy is facing numerous charges, for allegedly leading police on a high-speed chase.
Yesterday at about 3PM, a witness called Sunnyside Police on a report of a vehicle theft on East Grant Avenue.
When the suspect spotted officers, police say he took off a speeds over 100 MPH. Officers pursued the vehicle South on Waneta Road, where the suspect lost control and crashed in the area and was arrested.
Officers determined the victim left the keys to the vehicle in the ignition, while it was parked at the residence.
