Woman allegedly steals 200 donated items
A Kittitas County woman is arrested for allegedly taking and trying to sell items that were donated to victims of the Taylor Bridge Fire.
Yesterday investigator arrested 20-year-old Kaysee Hancock on two counts of trafficking stolen property.
Deputies say Hancock took at last 200 clothing, hygiene and childcare products from a donation center, saying they were for a family whose house burned in the fire.
Suspected she was selling the items, police arrested Hancock after a sting operation, in which she sold some of the items to an undercover deputy.
