Kennewick Attorney Headed To National Convention
A Kennewick attorney will be representing our region at the Democratic National Convention next week.
George Fearing is a civil litigation attorney and was chosen at the Washington State Democratic convention in June as an at large delegate.
This is the first time he'll be at the national convention and he says its a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Next week Democratic delegates will gather in Charlotte North Carolina.
The three day long event concludes with the presidents nomination acceptance speech on Thursday night.
Fearing says this event is special because he will get to enjoy the experience with his 17 year old son.
"He'll express to me whats going on and how he's feeling about it so yes I suppose I'll be a little more protective than I otherwise might be making sure that things are going well for him," says Fearing.
