Badger Mountain Elementary Without Power
The lights are off, but their brains are turned on for students at Badger Mountain Elementary school in Richland.
An old underground power line was compromised or weakened and needed to be fully replaced.
Crews dug up the old one all day today to replace the power line, but students didn't care- they loved every minute of camping in the classroom
Ironically half of last year's first day at Badger Mountain Elementary was in the dark as well- because of a glitch in the system.
Crews are hoping to finish repairing the cable by late tonight, and expect power to be restored in time for school tomorrow..
