Yakima Man Sentenced To 18 Years In Prison In Stabbing Death

A Yakima man is sentenced to more than 18 years in prison Friday for stabbing and killing another man during a bar fight.
A Yakima jury found 35-year-old Matthew Leonard guilty of 2nd degree murder after he stabbed 36-year-old Jason Linder in the heart during a fight outside of Arty's Tavern.
Linder was later found on a sidewalk, where he was transported to the hospital and died from the wound.
Police say the murder was not gang related.
