Fire Damages Yakima Man's Roof
A fire tears through the roof of a Yakima man's home earlier today.
Firefighters responded to a house fire around 4:00 P.M. Monday on the 4400 block of Avalanche Avenue.
Officials said when crews arrived, the roof of the house was on fire, but were able to quickly extinguish the fire.
Investigators believe the fire may have started from an electrical appliance on the side of the side of the house.
