Airports Announce Wine Promotion for Region
The Pasco, Yakima and Walla Walla airports are teaming up to encourage tourists to check out Washington wine country.
In an announcement today at the Pasco Airport, the airports will now participate in a program that will give visitors more flexibility when visiting the region.
In partnering with Alaska Airlines and Enterprise Rent-A-Car, visitors can use their boarding passes for free wine tastings at 130 participating wineries and rent a car at any of the three airports and drop the car off at any of the other for no additional cost.
Alaska Airlines announced it will continue to let people check a case of wine for no charge.
