Man Threatens TC Airport
A man who allegedly made threats to blow up the Tri-Cities aiport remains in the Franklin County jail.
24-year old Horacio Estoban Mendoza is charged with malicious mischief and assault. Sheriff's detectives say early Saturday morning the man was under the influence of narcotics when he pulled a knife on a man, damaged a truck and an electrical box outside the airport.
When approached by deputies, they say he threatened to blow up the airport. Mendoza was arrested, and the information has been passed on to the county prosecutor and Homeland Security.
