Firefighters Battle 30-Acre Fire
Fire Near Highway 12
Firefighters spend the entire weekend battling a 30 acre brush fire just outside of Naches.
Crews say the fire started around 6pm on Friday near the Windy Point campground off Highway 12.
About 100 firefighters and two helicopters were at the scene from then until this morning, when the fire was extinguished.
No cause has been determined for the fire, but officials say it may be due to the extreme heat.
