Woman Found Dead In Ellensburg
Kittitas County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating the death of a 79-year-old Ellensburg woman today.
A passing motorist found Alice Manz dead near her mailbox on Robins Road shortly after noon.
Deputies say preliminary investigation shows Manz pulled up near the mailbox in her Dodge Durango and got out, believing it was still in park.
Manz's then rolled backwards, striking her.
Deputies say there are no signs of foul play.
