Charges Filed In Double Homicide

A 19-year-old Yakima man accused of shooting and killing two gang members this week is charged.
Prosecutors have filed charges of premeditated first-degree murder against Lameiro Efren Flores.
Flores is accused of killing 18-year-old Jobany Martinez and 17-year-old Jose Avilez at the Naches River near the Yakima Greenway parking lot on North 16th Avenue this past Monday.
Flores is currently being held at Yakima County Jail on a $2 million bail pending arraignment on August 21.
