Yakima Man Hospitalized After Overnight Shooting
An overnight shooting in Yakima leaves a 21 year old man hospitalized.
Just before 10PM, police were called to Swan Avenue on reports of shots fired.
Police say the man was sitting on the stair case of an apartment building, when he was approached by one or more suspects who asked him if he was a gang banger.
The man denied gang affiliation and the suspects demanded his wallet and cell phone, and then shot him.
The victim was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to his upper leg and head lacerations.
The suspect or suspects are at large.
