A business owner in Yakima is honored for his community service today.
John Gasperetti, the owner of Gasperetti's Inc., is named the 24th winner of the Ted Robertson Community Service Award.
The award recognizes Gasperetti's support and funding of many local organizations throughout Yakima, including the Allied Arts, Memorial Foundation, and the Yakima Symphony.
The Chamber of Commerce will present Gasperetti with the award in September.
