A man from Issaquah died Saturday night after authorities say he fell down a rock cliff in Kittitas County.

51-year-old Glenn Williams died after falling into shallow water at Lake Kachess around 9:20 p.m. Saturday.

The accident happened after Williams stopped to take a look at the view with his wife and daughter at the remote spot located off I-90 about 10 miles northeast of Snoqualmie Pass.

Williams was transported by private boat to shore, where he was later pronounced deceased.  The exact cause of the fall and death are still under investigation.  Alcohol appears to have been a factor in this incident, according to Kittitas Co. Undersheriff Clayton Meyers.
