Franklin County Museum Expanding
Franklin County Historical Society
The Franklin County Historical Society finalized the purchase of three lots Thursday in order to expand the museum in Pasco.
Members of the society's board signed the paperwork at an escrow office in West Pasco to move forward with the museum expansion.
The museum is located at 4th Avenue and Bonneville Street in downtown Pasco.
The three properties are located directly behind the museum to the east, and will allow the society to make the museum bigger, allow for more storage, and give the society a chance to display larger exhibits.
The three properties were purchased for more than $170,000.
