Two Weeks To Clean Up SR 410 Mudslide
It may be up to two weeks before a mud slide on State Route 410 in the Nile Valley is completely cleaned up.
Nearly one-thousand tons of mud, trees, and rock fell on the highway near Bumping River Road Friday, closing the highway.
Crews may have one lane of the highway open in the next few days. The department of transportation says despite the slide, it hopes to have Chinook Pass open by Memorial Day.
