Benton County Flood Concerns

The Yakima River in the Benton County area continues to rise today, and it's now just below thirteen feet.
Emergency officials are warning residents living near the Yakima river to be prepared for minor flooding.
Several other areas are at risk for flooding today including the Benton City RV park, West Richland golf course and other roads off of Van Giesen in Richland..
Campers at the RV park say they are prepared but will be concerned when the river hits 16 feet above flood stage.
Crews are expecting the Yakima River to stay above flood stage for the next two or three days
