Americans Get Swept By Portland
The 2011-12 Season for the Tri Cities Americans, will be fondly remembered for being their 4th WHL Western Regular Season Championship in 5 years. It will also be remembered as the odd way the Ams ended the season, by getting swept.
Last nights Game 4 in the WHL Western Conference Finals in Portland, begain like Game 3 with the Americans scoring first. Adam Hughesman was able to score after a scrum developed in the Portland Crease. But, also like Game 3, the Americans wouldn't score again, and Portland ended up exploding in the 3rd period for 4 goals.
The Ams get swept by the Winterhawks 4 games to None.
This also will end up to be the last game in an American's Uniform for Mason Wilgosh, Brendan Shinnimin, and Mason Wilgosh.
