Yakima River could reach flood stage this week
Yakima River
Rising waters on the Yakima River could reach flood stage in Benton County by Saturday afternoon.
The river has risen two feet since yesterday.
This evening, the water is just over 11 feet -- flood stage is 13 feet.
The National Weather Service predicts the river will reach just over 13 feet on Saturday, then go back down to 10 feet next week.
