Prosser Public Hearing on Dispatch Center

The public is invited to voice their opinion on closing its independent emergency dispatch center to save more than $200,000 a year.

The city is looking to save money by joining up with the Southeast Communication Center that provides dispatch throughout Benton County.

The closing would mean the loss of five dispatchers, but would save the city $220,000 a year.

The city council meeting starts Tuesday at 7:00 P.M.
