Pendleton Man Injured in Motorcycle Crash After Police Chase
A 51 year old Pendleton man is left seriously injured after a motorcycle crash north of Hermiston.
Police say on Saturday, James Wayne Ball lost control of his motorcycle and crashed off West Punkin Center Road. He was in the process of eluding an Oregon State Police Trooper.
A Trooper attempted to stop the motorcycle on Highway 730 for traveling 111 MPH.
Officers say Ball sped up to 130 MPH as he passed other vehicles in no passing zones.
After sliding off the road, he was airlifted to Kadlec Regional Hospital Medical Center. Charges are pending.
